Madison Capital Executive Apartments

We stayed in three rooms with two beds in each room. My sister and i slept well and beds are comfortable. My father and sister said beds are too soft. Carpet in corridor is old but rooms are clean. Provided with basic cooking tools but we didn't cook. Staff was helpful. We arrived a bit early to drop our bags in the rooms. Location was good too.

The location of the premises was excellent : within a short walking distance to the CBD, and a wide range of restaurants nearby. The carpark secure and undercover, accommodating our 4WD easily. The buffet breakfast was an added bonus. Room was comfortable with a balcony for the studio apartment. The bathroom was spacious, with a large shower. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Madison excellent location in Canberra City with good facilities in walking distance. Undercover parking bonus as is basic breakfast in room price. Rooms are good size with kitchenette facilities and most with balconies facing Haig Park. It is not a boutique accommodation but is more than adequate and beds are comfortable and bathrooms appear newish.

On arrival the building looked a little tired and outdated, however on accessing our room, we were pleasantly surprised how clean, modern and comfortable the room was being newly renovated. Hence the saying never judge a book by its cover is so totally relevant, The kitchen and bathroom facilities were great. The bed very comfy. Although our room balcony faced a main road and junction of traffic lights, we could not hear the outside traffic when the double-glazed sliding doors were closed. We slept well. A great location close to nature (park) and to restaurants, with tram access close by. The room price included continental breakfast and free parking - value!!! The location was excellent for my purposes. The breakfast was excellent. The bathroom was a good size and easy to use. The apartment was well airconditioned and comfortable, most importantly, the bed room was airconditioned. Local area access was good and the shops were within walking distance along with good places to eat. Check in was easy and the staff were very helpful. The room was nice and quiet. I will be thinking of staying there again in the future. The shower was clean and there was plenty of hot water. You could also adjust the shower head easily.
